This Privacy Policy describes how BID Group Technologies Ltd. dba "Comact Technologies" ("Comact", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and otherwise processes your personal information when you use the OPER8 Sentry mobile application (the "App").
OPER8 Sentry is part of the OPER8 software-as-a-service platform (the "Solution"). This policy is specific to the App and should be read alongside our general Privacy Policy, which provides additional detail about our broader data practices.
By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to the processing of your personal information as described in this policy. If you do not consent, please do not use the App.

When you create an account or use the App, we may collect:

Usage Information (Collected Automatically)
As you interact with the App, we automatically collect:
- App interactions (features accessed, actions taken)
- In-app search history (queries submitted to the AI assistant)
- User-generated content (messages, feedback submitted within the App)
Technical Information (Collected Automatically)
To maintain and improve the App, we collect:
- Crash logs and error reports
- Device model and operating system version
- App version
We do not collect location data (GPS), photos, contacts, or financial information through the App.

- Cloud infrastructure providers — We use Microsoft Azure to host and process data on our behalf. Azure acts as a data processor under our instructions.
- Our employees and contractors — On a need-to-know basis to operate and support the App.
- Affiliated entities — Within the BID Group of companies for the purposes described in this policy.
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies — Only where strictly required by applicable law.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs. All data processing occurs within Comact-controlled infrastructure.
5. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Your personal information is processed and stored on servers located in the United States (Microsoft Azure, East US region). If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, and processed in, the United States.
The measures we use to protect your personal information are subject to the legal requirements of the jurisdictions in which your data is stored, including lawful requirements to disclose information to law enforcement and government agencies.
6. Data Security
We protect your personal information using reasonable physical, technological, and organizational safeguards, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS for all communications between the App and our servers)
- Encryption at rest for stored data
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel
- Regular security assessments of our infrastructure
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App's services. Personal information used to make a decision affecting you is retained for at least one year after that decision.
When your information is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected and there is no legal or business requirement to retain it, we will delete, destroy, or anonymize it.

How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account and all associated personal information, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy.officer@comact.com.
Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., legal claims, fraud prevention). We will confirm completion of the deletion by email.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is designed for industrial professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy
